The service
Kolkata Job Lab shows job listings, job-market information and career tools for Kolkata, free of charge. We may change, pause or stop any part of the service at any time.
Job listings
- Most listings come from other websites and from employers. We check them automatically, but we cannot promise that every listing is accurate, current or genuine.
- We are not the employer and not a recruitment agency. Hiring decisions are made only by the employer.
- When you click Apply you leave our site, and that website's own terms apply.
- Never pay money to get a job. If anyone asks for a fee, stop and report the job to us.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy policy).
Rules for everyone
Do not post false, misleading, offensive or illegal content; do not ask job seekers for money; do not collect other users' personal details; do not send spam; and do not try to break, overload or copy the site in bulk with automated tools.
Rules for employers and recruiters
Post only real, open jobs that you are allowed to hire for, with honest pay and details. Do not charge candidates any fee. We may edit, hide or remove any job, and close any account, that breaks these rules.
Information and tools
Salary figures, skill trends, CV matches, AI answers and other insights are estimates to help you decide. They are not professional or legal advice, and they can be wrong.
Content
The site's design, code and analysis belong to Kolkata Job Lab. Job listings belong to their employers and sources. Content you add (such as a CV or a job post) stays yours; you let us store and show it only so the service can work.
Advertising
The site may show ads. Ads are provided by third parties, and we do not endorse the products they show.
Limits of our responsibility
The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, Kolkata Job Lab is not responsible for losses that come from using the site, from a job listing, or from dealing with an employer or another user.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top.
